I am always on the look out for a new mountain biking accommodation to use for Hit the Hills and have found a great one in Edale in the Peak District. I would like to try out before using it proper so have decided to do it as special offer at a discounted price to see how well it works.
What the deal?
The accommodation is a smart bunk barn with great facilities that can accommodate up to 15 mountain bikers. 5 places are already taken so that leave 10 spots. The nearest pub is 1 mile away in Edale.
As always great food will be provided all weekend; from dinner on Friday night to packed lunch on Sunday.
What’s the riding like?
One word: Awesome! From a 2 hour jaunt to an epic 8 hour ride. All can be done from the venue taking in the classic trails such as Jacobs Ladder, Hope Cross, Mam Tor, Rushup Edge, Kinder Scout, screaming mile, the Beast and many more.
There will be a group ride on Saturday doing the fabulous Edale, Jacob’s Ladder, Rushup Edge & Mam Tor route which is 23km long. Everybody is welcome to join or feel free to do you won thing. Have a look on the routes section on the site for some ideas.
It in Upper Booth in the Vale of Edale in Derbyshire. Or, right if you prefer near the bottom of Jacobs Ladder. Here it is on a map.
Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd November 2014.
The price for this weekend will usually be £159 (with a guided ride) but for you Hit the Hills guys and girls I can offer it out @ £115 for this weekend only. Feel free to invite your friends as well.
How do I book?
