Hit the Hills @ Chapel-le-Dale, Yorkshire Dales

mountain biking in the yorkshire dales

Mountain biking in the Yorkshire Dales is grand. This was confirmed by the riders at the first weekend in Buckden. After that, Hit the Hills was asked to do another weekend in the Dales. Straight away I knew where it was going to take place!

In North Yorkshire you have Dent, Horton-in-Ribblesdale, Clapham and Ingleton have some great mountain bike trails as well as the highest peaks in the whole of Yorkshire – Ingleborough (723m with a bridleway right to the top!) and Whernside. The venue is in Chapel-le-Dale which is smack bang in the middle of them all; and there is a boozer a few steps up the road too!
